Composer Erick Schroder (The Ultimate Playlist of Noise, Under the Stadium Lights, Skeletons in the Closet, No Man’s Land, Angry Neighbors, American Christmas) is reuniting with director Chris McGowan on the upcoming supernatural thriller You Don’t Belong Here. The film starring Shane West, Nikki Roumel, Cameron Cowperthwaite, Destiny Hernandez, Chibuikem Uche, Ilirida Memedovski & Major Curda follows a group of amateur crime solvers as they take a trip to an infamous campsite to investigate an unsolved murder and unexpectedly find themselves in 1991, days before the murder took place, with a mysterious killer on the loose. Martin Bartlett wrote the screenplay. Seth Savoy (Echo Boomers), Mike D. Ware and Sterling Beaumon are producing the Rock River Studios production with Yajaira Marie and Patrick Ryan Richter. Schroder has previously scored McGowan’s feature Chasing Nightmares starring Anne Heche, Graham McTavish & Michelle Randolph. You Don’t Belong Here is currently in post-production. No release date has been announced yet.
Schroder’s other recent projects include Cecil Chambers’ survival thriller Bunker (originally entitled Fallout), which is expected to be released later this year.
