Jason Hill (Mindhunter, The Confession Killer, City on Fire, Voir, Extrapolations, Love, Death & Robots) is scoring the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Dark Matter. The show is created by Blake Crouch (Good Behavior, Wayward Pines) based on his bestselling book of the same title and stars Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Dayo Okeniyi, Jimmi Simpson and Oakes Fegley. The 9-part sci-fi thriller centers on a physicist, professor and family man who — one night while walking home in Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life and has to try to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. Crouch & Edgerton are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Matt Tolmach (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Venom) and David Manpearl (Dark Harvest). Dark Matter will premiere on May 8, 2024 exclusively on Apple TV+.
