A24 Music has released the cover version of Broken Social Scene’s Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl from Jane Schoenbrun’s horror thriller I Saw the TV Glow. The track, which is featured in the film’s trailer (embedded below), is performed by Yeule and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon, and will also be included on the full soundtrack album, which will be released on May 10 (check out our previous article for the full album details). I Saw the TV Glow is written and directed by Schoenbrun and stars Justice Smith, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Danielle Deadwyler, Ian Foreman, Helena Howard and Fred Durst. The movie will be released in select theaters on May 3 before expanding nationwide in the following weeks.
