Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1973 spy thriller Scorpio directed by Michael Winner and starring Burt Lancaster, Alain Delon, Paul Scofield, John Colicos and Gayle Hunnicutt. The album features the newly remastered and expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Jerry Fielding (The Wild Bunch, Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, Escape from Alcatraz, The Bad News Bears, The Gambler). The limited edition CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list, listen to audio samples and find out more about the release. Intrada Records has previously released the premiere CD release of the composer’s score in 2008, while Quartet has released a vinyl edition featuring fourteen tracks of Fielding’s score in 2022. Scorpio is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
