Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s limited series Griselda. The album features the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award and Grammy Award winner Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit, Godless, Lessons in Chemistry, Hacks, Chupa, A Walk Among the Tombstones). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 19 (click here to stream/download). A vinyl edition will be coming out next from Diggers Factory and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out the composer’s title track below. Griselda is created by Doug Miro, Eric Newman, Carlo Bernard & Ingrid Escajeda and stars Sofía Vergara, Alberto Guerra, Christian Tappan, Martin Rodriguez and Juliana Aidén Martinez. The 6-part crime drama is inspired by the life of Griselda Blanco who – after fleeing from Medellín to Miami with her three young sons and a kilo of cocaine – becomes the ruthless boss of a booming drug empire.The series will premiere next Thursday, January 25, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
