Singer/songwriter David Longstreth (of the indie rock band Dirty Projectors) has made his feature film scoring debut on the upcoming sci-fi drama Love Me. The film is written and directed by Sam & Andy Zuchero and stars Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun. The movie is being described as a “love story of a smart buoy and an orbiting satellite that spans a billion years and probes the mysteries of being and consciousness”. Kevin Rowe (The Starling Girl, Low Down), Luca Borghese (The Persian Version, Monsters and Men), Ben Howe (Diane, Quitters), Shivani Rawat (Captain Fantastic, Trumbo) and Julie Goldstein (Freeheld, Come Sunday) are producing the project. Love Me will premiere in competition next month at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
