Jeff Toyne (Rogue, Dirty Girl, 9/11, You Me Her, Butter) is the composer of the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Palm Royale. The show is developed by Abe Sylvia (George & Tammy) based on the novel Mr. and Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel and stars Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Leslie Bibb, Josh Lucas, Mindy Cohn, Amber Chardae Robinson, Julia Duffy and Kaia Gerber. The comedy is set in the powder keg year of 1969 and follows a woman as she endeavors to break into Palm Beach high society and attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots. Sylvia, Wiig & Dern are also executive producing the Apple Studios production with Jaywalker Pictures’ Jayme Lemons (Tiny Beautiful Things, The Way I See It), as well as Wyolah Films’ Katie O’Connell Marsh (Narcos, Hannibal), Tate Taylor (The Help, The Girl on the Train) and John Norris (Ma, Breaking News in Yuba County), as well as Sharr White (Halston, Generation) and Sheri Holman. Toyne has previously collaborated with Sylvia on the Fox drama Filthy Rich. Palm Royale will premiere on March 20, 2024 on Apple TV+.
