Fall Out Boy lead singer Patrick Stump (Gnome Alone, Black Friday, Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Changeland, & Mark, Mary & Some Other People) has provided the original music for the upcoming animated holiday special Merry Little Batman. The film is directed by Mike Roth and features the voices of Luke Wilson, Yonas Kibreab, James Cromwell and David Hornsby. The Warner Bros. Animation production follows Damian Wayne as he is left home alone while Batman takes on Gotham’s supervillains on Christmas Eve, when he stumbles upon a villainous plot to steal Christmas and leaps at the chance to save the day. Morgan Evans and Jase Ricci (Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham) wrote the screenplay. Merry Little Batman will premiere on December 8, 2023 exclusively on Prime Video.
Stump’s other recent scoring projects include Sick Girl, which has just been released in select theaters and on VOD last month.
