Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Lawmen: Bass Reeves. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Chanda Dancy (Devotion, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Aftershock, The Defeated, Dramarama). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 10 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to the composer’s opening titles theme below. Lawmen: Bass Reeves is created by Chad Feehan  and stars David Oyelowo, Lauren E. Banks, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Demi Singleton, Dennis Quaid and Donald Sutherland. The western drama produced by Taylor Sheridan follows the titular legendary lawman’s rise from enslavement to law enforcement as the first Black U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi. The series premiered last Sunday and new episodes will drop weekly on Paramount+.
