Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere CD release of two scores composed by Academy Award nominee Ernest Gold (Exodus, It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, On the Beach, Too Much, Too Soon). The Ernest Gold Collection – Volume 2 features the composer’s score from the 1988 NBC miniseries Gore Vidal’s Lincoln directed by Lamont Johnson and starring Sam Waterston, Mary Tyler Moore, Richard Mulligan, John Houseman & Tim Guinee, as well as his music from the 1980 western Tom Horn directed by William Wiard and starring Steve McQueen, Linda Evans and Richard Farnsworth. The limited edition CD is now available to order the labels’ official website, where you can also find out more information about the release and check out audio samples. Gore Vidal’s Lincoln is now available on DVD and Tom Horn is available on DVD and VOD.
