Muted Piano will release a soundtrack album for the British drama Typist Artist Pirate King. The album features the film’s original music composed by Carly Paradis (The Innocents, The Rising, Whitstable Pearl, Sick Note, Prime Suspect 1973). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 27 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Typist Artist Pirate King is written and directed by Carol Morley and stars Kelly Macdonald, Monica Dolan and Gina McKee. The movie is based on the life of forgotten artist Audrey Amiss and centers on the growing friendship between two women as they hit the road in an electric car looking for reconciliation. The drama premiered at last year’s Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and will open in UK theaters on October 27. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
