Filmax has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish supernatural horror thriller The Chapel (La Ermita). The album features the film’s original music composed by Pascal Gaigne (The Endless Trench, The Giant, The Olive Tree, Nora, Remember Me). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title tracks below. The Chapel is co-written and directed by Carlota Pereda and stars Belén Rueda, Maia Zaitegi, Loreto Mauleón and Josean Bengoetxea. The movie revolves around a woman who wants to communicate with the spirit of a little girl who has spent centuries trapped inside a chapel and tries to convince a skeptical and fake medium to help her. The thriller is premiering this week at the 2023 Sitges Film Festival and is set to open in Spanish theaters next month.
