Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French biographical drama Bernadette. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anne-Sophie Versnaeyen (La Belle Epoque, OSS 117: Red Alert in Black Africa, My Cousin, Mascarade, I Still Hide to Smoke). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. Bernadette is directed by Léa Domenach and stars Catherine Deneuve in the title role of former French first lady Bernadette Chirac, as well as Denis Podalydès, Sara Giraudeau, Michel Vuillermoz, Laurent Stocker, Lionel Abelanski and François Vincentelli. The movie tells the story of the spouse of Jacques Chirac who became President of France in 1995. The drama was released in French theaters last week. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
