Aaron May & David Ridley (Malpractice, Villain, Arsène Wenger: Invincible) are the composers of the new BBC drama Boiling Point. The showbased on the 2021 feature of the same title (scored by May & Ridley) is written by James Cummings and stars Stephen Graham, Vinette Robinson, Ahmed Malek, Daniel Larkari, Hannah Walters, Stephen McMillan, Taz Skylar and Shaun Fagan. The 4-parter directed by Philip Barantini & Mounia Akl follows head chef Carly who is battling to forge a name for new London restaurant Point North alongside her old kitchen crew. Cummings, Graham & Barantini are also executive producing the project with Ascendant Fox’s Hester Ruoff & Bart Ruspoli (A Violent Man), Matriarch Productions’ Hannah Walters, Samantha Beddoe and Rebecca Ferguson (The Responder, The Capture) for the BBC. Boiling Point will premiere in the UK this coming Sunday, October 1 on BBC One.
