Amazon Content Services will release the official soundtrack album for the biographical drama Cassandro. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcelo Zarvos (The Equalizer 3, Fences, Wonder, Flamin’ Hot, The Good Shepherd, The Affair, Emancipation). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 22. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. Cassandro is co-written and directed by Roger Ross Williams and stars Gael García Bernal, Roberta Colindrez, Joaquín Cosío, Perla De La Rosa and Raúl Castillo. The movie tells the story of Saúl Armendáriz, a gay amateur wrestler from El Paso as he rises to international stardom after he creates the character Cassandro, the “Liberace of Lucha Libre.” The drama, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, opened in select theaters last Friday and will debut tomorrow on Prime Video.
