Atlantic Records has released a “deluxe” version of the soundtrack album for Greta Gerwig’s fantasy comedy Barbie. The Best Weekend Ever Edition features two additional songs recorded for the movie: a cover of Matchbox Twenty’s Push produced by Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt & George Drakoulias and performed by Ryan Gosling (who stars as Ken), as well as a cover of Indigo Girls’s Closer to Fine performed by Brandi Carlile & Catherine Carlile. The new edition of the soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. Also listen to both additional tracks below. The original Barbie The Album is now also available digitally, on CD, vinyl and cassette. Barbie co-written and directed by Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp & Michael Cera is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
