Over the last couple of days, Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Sausage Party, Horrible Bosses, Agent Carter, Supernatural, Alvin and the Chipmunks) has recorded his score for the upcoming Disney+ original movie Dashing Through the Snow. The film is directed by Tim Story (Fantastic Four, The Blackening) and stars Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Lil Rel Howery, Teyonah Parris, Oscar Nunez, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Gina Brillon, Ravi Patel, Marcus Lewis, Madison Skye Validum and Sebastian Sozzi. The comedy tells the story of a divorced social worker for the Atlanta police department who hates Christmas due to a painful childhood memory who inadvertently evokes the wrath of a local politician, but meets a man who helps him understand the joy and magic of Christmas. Will Packer (Girls Trip, Beast) is producing the project with Smart Entertainment’s John Jacobs (Ted, Blades of Glory). Lennertz has previously collaborated with Story on the Ride Along and Think Like a Man movies, the Shaft reboot and 2021’s Tom & Jerry. Dashing Through the Snow will premiere this coming holiday season on Disney+.
Lennertz also continues to score Amazon’s The Boys, which will return for a fourth season.
