Silva Screen Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the the 1982 neo-noir mystery drama Hammett directed by Wim Wenders, executive produced by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Frederic Forrest, Peter Boyle, Marilu Henner and Roy Kinnear. The album features the newly remastered original music from the Zoetrope Studios production composed by Academy Award winner John Barry (Dances with Wolves, Goldfinger, Out of Africa, Somewhere in Time, The Man with the Golden Gun, Body Heat), including previously unreleased additional cues and alternate versions.
