Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant. The album features the film’s original music composed by Chris Benstead (The Gentlemen, Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre, Wrath of Man). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant is co-written and directed by Ritchie and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Dar Salim, Alexander Ludwig, Emily Beecham, Antony Starr, Jonny Lee Miller and Bobby Schofield. The movie follows a sergeant on his last tour of duty in Afghanistan who teams up with a local interpreter to survey the region, when their unit is ambushed on patrol. The thriller was released in theaters nationwide in April by United Artists/MGM and is now available on PVOD. The film will also be coming out on Blu-ray and DVD on June 20.
