Andrew Lockington (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Frontier, Rampage) is scoring the upcoming Paramount+ original series Special Ops: Lioness. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Sicario, Hell or High Water) and stars Zoe Saldaña, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, Laysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, James Jordan, LaMonica Garrett, Austin Hébert, Stephanie Nur, Jonah Wharton and Hannah Love Lanier. The spy thriller is based on an actual US Military program and follows the life of a woman trying to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA’s spear in the war on terror.Sheridan, Saldana & Kidman are also executive producing the MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios production with David C. Glasser (Marco Polo, Waco), Ron Burkle (1883, George & Tammy), Bob Yari (Crash, The Illusionist), David Hutkin (Tulsa King, 1923), Jill Wagner, Geyer Kosinski (Bad News Bears, School for Scoundrels), Michael Malone and John Hillcoat (Lawless, The Road). Lockington has previously collaborated with Sheridan on the first two seasons of Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown. Special Ops: Lioness will premiere on July 23, 2023 on Paramount+.
