MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the British drama The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Layer Cake, The Young Victoria, Still Alice, Kick-Ass, A Perfect Planet). Also included are two original songs co-written (with James Keay) and performed by Sam Lee. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 28 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry is directed by Hettie Macdonald and stars Jim Broadbent, Penelope Wilton, Linda Bassett, Earl Cave and Joseph Mydell. The movie is based on Rachel Joyce’s best-selling novel of the same name and follows a seemingly unremarkable man in his 60s who embarks on a walk, from Devon to Berwick-upon-Tweed, in order to deliver a message to a friend he has learned has been placed in a hospice. The drama will be released in UK theaters on April 28. No word yet on a domestic release.
