Back Lot Music will release a second soundtrack album for the musical comedy Praise This. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jermaine Stegall (Coming 2 America, Senior Year, Our Star Wars Stories, Proximity, Jamesy Boy). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Columbia Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie earlier this month. Praise This is directed by Tina Gordon and stars Chloe Bailey, Anjelika Washington, Philip Fornah, Druski, Tristan Mack Wilds, Birgundi Baker, Loren Lott, Crystal Hayslett, Kiara Iman Heffner, Quavo, Cocoa Brown, Ilario Grant, Vanessa Fraction, Jekalyn Carr and Koryn Hawthorne. The movie follows an aspiring musical superstar who is forced to join the underdog praise team of her cousin in the lead-up to a national championship competition. The Universal Studios production premiered in early April and is now available to stream exclusively on Peacock.
