Raffertie (aka Benjamin Stefanski) (Alex Rider, White Dragon, Bull, One Way, Zone 414) has been tapped to score the upcoming Peacock event series The Continental. The show is developed by Greg Coolidge (Ride Along, The Troop), Kirk Ward & Shawn Simmons (Wayne) based on characters from the John Wick feature films and stars Colin Woodell, Mel Gibson, Mishel Prada, Ben Robson, Nhung Kate, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Jeremy Bobb, Ayomide Adegun and Peter Greene. The 3-parter explores the origin story and inner workings of the exclusive Continental Hotel, a centerpiece of the John Wick Universe, through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he had left behind. Coolidge, Ward & Simmons are also executive producing the Lionsgate production with Thunder Road Pictures’ Basil Iwanyk (Sicario, The Town) and Erica Lee (Bruised, The Informer), Chad Stahelski (who helmed all four John Wick movies), Derek Kolstad (Nobody, The Princess), David Leitch (Bullet Train, Atomic Blonde), Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese (Deadpool, Zombieland), Marshall Persinger, as well as Albert Hughes (The Book of Eli, Menace II Society) who also directed the first three episodes. The Continental will premiere this September on Peacock.
