Editions Musicales Francois has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian drama The Assembly Line (L’établi). The album features the film’s original music composed by Flemming Nordkrog (Bedrag, Arab Blues, Wildwitch, Ogre, Happy Ending). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Assembly Line is directed by Mathias Gokalp and stars Swann Arlaud, Mélanie Thierry, Olivier Gourmet and Denis Podalydès. The movie based on Robert Linhart’s eponymous novel is set in the aftermath of May 1968 and follows an academic and far-left activist who leaves university to join a factory and spread his revolutionary ideas. The drama just opened in French theaters last week.
