Leonardo Heiblum & Jacobo Lieberman (Maria Full of Grace, Prayers for the Stolen, The Silence of Others, I Am Vanessa Guillen) have teamed up to compose the original music for the upcoming shark thriller The Black Demon. The film is directed by Adrian Grunberg (Rambo: Last Blood, Get the Gringo) and stars Josh Lucas, Fernanda Urrejola, Venus Ariel, Julio Cesar Cedillo and Carlos Solórzano. The movie follows a family whose idyllic vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Boise Esquerra wrote the screenplay based on a story by Carlos Cisco. Arianne Fraser (Panama, Inheritance), Delphine Perrier (Rogue Warfare), Jon Silk (Nightride), Javier Chapa (Blue Miracle, Aztec Warrior) are producing the project. The Black Demon will be released in U.S. theaters on April 28, 2023 by The Avenue.
