Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick, The LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life) has composed the original music for the upcoming comedy Ghosted. The film is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman, Eddie the Eagle) and stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Adrian Brody, Tate Donovan, Amy Sedaris, Tim Blake Nelson and Mike Moh. The romantic action adventure follows an alt-of-the-earth man who falls head over heels for an enigmatic woman, when he makes the shocking discovery that she’s a secret agent. Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland) wrote the screenplay with Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle). They are also executive producing the project with Evans, Jules Daly (The Tomorrow War, Jungleland) and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg & Don Granger (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher). Ghosted will premiere on April 21, 2023 on Apple TV+.
Balfe’s recent and upcoming feature projects also include Jon S. Baird’s Tetris and John Francis Daley’s & Jonathan Goldstein’s Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (both to be released later this month), as well as Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle and Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 & 2.
Balfe on top form again.
Looking forward to this and his score.Interesting to see Dexter Fletcher and Mathew Vaughn now working with Balfe.
Have always wanted to hear what Lorne Balfe would do with a James Bond film.
