Milan Records has released the official soundtrack album for the French crime comedy The Crime Is Mine (Mon crime). The album features the film’s original music composed by Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, The Time of Secrets, Potiche, War of the Buttons, Black Box, Angel). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A CD version is also being released overseas and will be available to order as an import here within the next few days. The Crime Is Mine is written and directed by Francois Ozon and stars Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Rebecca Marder, Isabelle Huppert, Dany Boon, André Dussollier and Fabrice Luchini. The movie is set in 1930s Paris and follows a pretty, young and talentless actress who is accused of murdering a famous producer and – after she is acquitted – becomes a star. The comedy is being released in French theaters today.
