GM Redcords has released a soundtrack album for the French coming-of-age drama Rascals (Les Rascals). The album features the film’s original music composed by the French blues trio Delgres. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Rascals is co-written and directed by Jimmy Laporal-Trésor and stars Jonathan Feltre, Angelina Woreth, Victor Meutelet, Missoum Slimani and Jonathan EAP. The movie is set in 1984 Paris and revolves around a generation caught up in the clash between multiculturalism and nationalism. The drama just opened in French theaters this past Wednesday.
