Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for the ABC special Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration. The album features the songs from the special presentation written by Alan Menken (music) & Howard Ashman (lyrics) (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid) for Disney’s animated classic and newly recorded and performed by cast members Shania Twain, Joshua Henry, H.E.R., Rizwan Manji, David Alan Grier, Martin Short & Josh Groban. Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration is executive produced by Jon M. Chu, directed by Hamish Hamilton and includes live never-before-seen musical performances and features brand-new sets and costumes inspired by the classic story. The two-hour animated and live-action blended special is premiering tonight on ABC before making its debut tomorrow on Disney+.
