Nathan Johnson (Nightmare Alley, Don Jon, Kill the Messenger, Mr. Corman) is currently scoring the upcoming Peacock original series Poker Face. The show is created and directed by Rian Johnson (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and stars Natasha Lyonne as a woman with an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying who hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve. Guest stars include Adrien Brody, Benjamin Bratt, Charles Melton, Cherry Jones, Chloë Sevigny, Clea DuVall, Danielle MacDonald, Ellen Barkin, Hong Chau, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Judith Light, Lil Rel Howery, Luis Guzmán, Nick Nolte, Rhea Perlman, Ron Perlman, Simon Helberg, Stephanie Hsu, Tim Blake Nelson and Tim Meadows. Johnson & Lyonne are also executive producing the T-Street and MRC Television production with Ram Bergman (Stranger Than Fiction, Papillon), Nora Zuckerman, Lilla Zuckerman, Nena Rodrigue and Iain B. Macdonald (Shameless). The composer has previously most of Rian Johnson’s features, including both Knives Out movies, Looper, Brick and The Brothers Bloom. Poker Face will premiere on January 26, 2023 on Peacock.
The Johnson-scored Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will open in theaters on November 23 before premiering on December 23 on Netflix.
