Latin Grammy Award winner Karol G has recorded an original song for DreamWorks Animation’s feature Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. The track, entitled La Vida es Una, is co-written by herself & Daniel Oviedo who also produced the song (as Ovy on the Drums). The movie also features two original songs co-penned by the film’s composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions): Fearless Hero (co-written with Dan Navarro & screenwriter Paul Fisher) performed by Antonio Banderas (who stars in the title role) and Por Que Te Vas co-written (with Pereira) and performed by Grammy Award nominee Gaby Moreno. La Vida es Una and Fearless Hero are being submitted for awards consideration. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is directed by Joel Crawford and also stars Salma Hayek, Olivia Colman, Samson Kayo, Harvey Guillén, Wagner Moura, Anthony Mendez, Florence Pugh, John Mulaney, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Ray Winstone. The animated feature will be released in theaters nationwide on December 21 by Universal Pictures.
