Walter Mair (Formula 1: Drive to Survive, The Same Sky, Shark Bait, Knuckledust, Glue, Ronaldo, Cuffs) has been tapped to score the upcoming action thriller The Bricklayer. The film is directed by Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger) and stars Aaron Eckhart, Nina Dovrev, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Blake Nelson and Ilfenesh Hadera. The movie follows a former CIA operative who is forced out of retirement to confront and unravel an international conspiracy. Matt Johnson (Into the Blue, Torque) and Hanna Weg (Septembers of Shiraz) wrote the screenplay based on Noah Boyd’s novel. Millennium Media’s Robert Van Norden (The Protégé , Jolt), Yariv Lerner (Rambo: Last Blood, Hellboy), Les Weldon (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Olympus Has Fallen), Jeffrey Greenstein & Jonathan Yunger (The Outpost, Security) and Heidi Jo Markel (Frankenstein, Lovelace) are producing the project. Mair has previously scored Millennium’s 2021 feature Till Death. The Bricklayer will be released in 2023 by Screen Media Films.
