Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for Steven Spielberg’s coming-of-age drama The Fabelmans. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Home Alone). Also included are several classical pieces as featured in the movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 11 (click here to stream/download) and physically on December 9. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD version. The Fabelmans is co-written and directed by Spielberg and stars Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Gabriel LaBelle, Julia Butters, Jeannie Berlin, Robin Bartlett, Keeley Karsten and Judd Hirsch. The Amblin Entertainment production is based on Spielberg’s childhood passion for moviemaking, and the family dynamics that found their way into his work. The drama premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will be released in select cities on November 11 by Universal Pictures before expanding nationwide on Thanksgiving weekend. Visit the official movie website for more information.
