Adam Peters (Savages, Icarus, Snowden, The Yellow Birds) is scoring the new Apple TV+ original series Shantaram. The show is created by Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal, The Punisher) & Eric Warren Singer (American Hustle, Top Gun: Maverick) based on the bestselling novel by Gregory David Roberts and stars Charlie Hunnam, Shubham Saraf, Elektra Kilbey, Luke Pasqualino, Fayssal Bazzi, Antonia Desplat, Alyy Khan, Vincent Perez, Sujaya Dasgupta, David Field, Alexander Siddig, Elham Ehsas, Gabrielle Scharnitzky, Rachel Kamath, Matthew Joseph and Shiv Palekar. The 12-part thriller follows a fugitive as he is looking to get lost in vibrant and chaotic 1980s Bombay and finds himself struggling to avoid the trouble he’s running from in this new place. Shantaram will premiere next Friday, October 14 on Apple TV+.
