Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad (Luke Cage, Boogie, Run This Town, Power Book III: Raising Kanan) are the composers of the new Hulu original series Reasonable Doubt. The show is created by Raamla Mohamed and stars Emayatzy Corinealdi, Michael Ealy, Sean Patrick Thomas, Angela Grovey, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo and Brooke Lyons. The project, which marks Onyx Collective’s first scripted drama, centers on the most brilliant and fearless defense attorney in Los Angeles who bucks the justice system at every chance she gets. Mohamed is also executive producing the ABC Signature production with Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone (Little Fires Everywhere, Django Unchained) for Simpson Street and Larry Wilmore (Insecure, Grown-ish) for Wilmore Films. Washington also directed the first episode. Reasonable Doubt will premiere this coming Tuesday, September 27 exclusively on Hulu.
The composers also continue to co-score CBS’ The Equalizer, which will return for its third season on October 2.
