Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the Star+/Hulu limited series Santa Evita. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret In Their Eyes, Watership Down, Kidnap, The Head, Loving Pablo, Life Itself) . Also included are tracks performed by Gustavo Pomeranec, Mariano Statello and Ute Lemper. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Santa Evita is developed by Marcela Guerty & Pamela Rementaria based on Tomás Eloy Martínez’s book of the same name and stars Natalia Oreiro, Ernesto Alterio, Francesc Orella, Diego Velázquez and Darío Grandinetti. The 7-part drama executive produced by Salma Hayek & Rodrigo Garcia tells the story of Eva Perón’s embalmed body, which remained unburied for around three years awaiting the construction of a monument that was never completed. The series premiered last month on Hulu in the U.S., on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney’s Star label in the rest of the world.
