René G. Boscio (Emergency, 30 Miles from Nowhere, The Time Capsule, Like Dogs) has been hired to score the upcoming Freeform original series The Watchful Eye. The show is created by Julie Durk (Grace & Frankie, Laws of Attraction) and stars Mariel Molino, Warren Christie, Kelly Bishop, Jon Ecker, Lex Lumpkin, Henry Joseph Samiri and Aliyah Royale. The drama follows a young woman with a complicated past as she is maneuvering her way into working as a live-in nanny for an affluent family in Manhattan and quickly learns that everyone in the mysterious building has deadly secrets and ulterior motives. Durk is also executive producing the ABC Signature production with showrunner Emily Fox (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce), Ryan Seacrest, Nina Wass & Andrea Shay (Insatiable) and Jeffrey Reiner (The Affair, High Fidelity). The Watchful Eye is expected to premiere in late 2022 or 2023 on Freeform.
