Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the romantic comedy Fire Island. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Indignation, Swan Song, I Carry You with Me, Olympic Dreams, Tales from the City). The soundtrack will be released digitally on Friday, June 3 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Fire Island is directed by Andrew Ahn and stars Joel Kim Booster (who also wrote the screenplay), Bowen Yang, Zane Phillips, Tomas Matos, James Scully, Matt Rogers, Nick Adams, Conrad Ricamora, Torian Miller and Margaret Cho. The Pride and Prejudice-inspired movie follows two best friends who set out to have a legendary week-long summer vacation with the help of cheap rosé and a cadre of eclectic friends. The Searchlight Pictures production will premiere this Friday, June 3 exclusively on Hulu.
