Composer Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, 3 Days to Kill, The Spy, Happy!) is reuniting with director Cédric Jimenez on the upcoming French thriller November (Novembre). The film starring Jean Dujardin, Anais Demoustier and Sandrine Kiberlai takes during the five days following the 2015 Paris terror attacks which shook Paris and centers on the sprawling investigation carried on by a highly-secretive police brigade to track down the masterminds behind the attacks. Olivier Demangel (Atlantics) wrote the screenplay. Hugo Selignac (Sink or Swim, Blood Ties) is producing the project for Chi-Fou-Mi Films, alongside Mathias Rubin (Möbius, The New Kid) for Recifilms. Roussel has previously scored Jimenez’s last three features, The Connection, The Man with the Iron Heart and BAC Nord. November will premiere next month at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
Roussel has also recently scored the French Netflix original film The Takedown (Loin du périph) directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Omar Sy, Laurent Lafitte and Izïa Higelin. The action comedy will premiere on May 6 on Netflix.
