Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel, The Lost City, Stargirl, Us Again, Krypton, McMillions, The Angel) has composed the original score for the upcoming romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding. The film is directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect, Sisters) and stars Jennifer Lopez, Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Coolidge, Sonia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan and Lenny Kravitz. The movie revolves around a couple whose extravagant destination wedding is hijacked by criminals and rediscover why they fell in love in the first place. Mark Hammer (Two Night Stand) wrote the screenplay. Mandeville Films’ Todd Lieberman & David Hoberman (The Fighter, Wonder) are producing the project with Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas & Benny Medina (Hustlers, Second Act) and Alex Young (Unstoppable, The A-Team). Shotgun Wedding will premiere this year on Amazon Prime and is also expected to be released in select theaters.
As previously reported, Toprak also has Francis Lawrence’s Slumberland and the next season of The CW’s Stargirl coming up.
