Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Hill Where Lionesses Roar (La colline où rugissent les lionnes). The album features the film’s original music composed by Aldo Shllaku (The Comeback Trail, The Doorman, The Poison Rose, Downrange, Vanquish, Triumph). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Hill Where Lionesses Roar is written and directed by Luàna Bajrami and stars Flaka Latifi, Uratë Shabani, Era Balaj, Andi Bajgora and Luàna Bajrami. The movie is set in a remote Kosovar village and follows three young women who feel their dreams have been stifled go on a quest for independence. The drama premiered at last year’s Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and is being released in several international markets over the next couple of months. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
