Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack EP for the Uruguayan/Argentine horror movie The Last Matinee (Al morir la matinee). The 6-track EP features the film’s original score composed by Hernán González (The Silent House, In the Quarry, . The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Last Matinee is directed by Maximiliano Contenti and stars Luciana Grasso, Ricardo Islas, Franco Duran, Julieta Spinelli and Pedro Duarte. The movie follows a projectionist’s daughter and a group of patrons who must fight back in the darkness of a matinee when a vicious murderer attacks a local cinema. The film was released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD last summer by Dark Star Pictures and is now also available on Blu-ray and DVD.
