Air-Edel Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Italian action drama The Legionnaire (Il Legionario). The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrea Boccadoro (Violation, Astrologaster). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. The Legionnaire is directed by Hleb Papou and stars Germano Gentile, Maurizio Bousso, Marco Falaguasta and Félicité Mbezelé. The movie tells the story of the only African- Italian agent in Rome’s Swat team as he is called to evacuate an occupied building where 150 families live, when he realizes that the place is where his own family lives. The drama premiered at last year’s Locarno Film Festival and screened and is being released in Italian theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
