Camera One, Winds and Gaumont have released a soundtrack album for the French documentary Heart of Oak (Le Chêne). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Cyrille Aufort (March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step, Splice, A Royal Affair, The Other Story, Ombline, Knock) . Also included is the original song Et tu restes written by Tim Dup and arranged by Aufort. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download overseas on all major digital music services. Heart of Oaks is directed by Laurent Charbonnier & Michel Seydoux and explores the power and longevity of oak trees. The documentary will be released in French theaters this Wednesday, February 23. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
