Ala Bianca Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama Leonora addio. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Nicola Piovani (Life Is Beautiful, The Tiger and the Snow, The Best Years, The Traitor, Pinocchio, Hungry Hearts). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Leonora addio is written and directed by Paolo Taviani and stars Fabrizio Ferracane, Matteo Pittiruti, Dania Marino, Dora Becker and Claudio Bigagli. The movie is inspired by a short story by playwright Luigi Pirandello and interweaves a tale of three surreal funerals with the story of the murder of a young Sicilian immigrant boy in Brooklyn. The drama just premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is being released in Italian theaters today.
