Composer Mark Kilian (Tsotsi, Pitch Perfect, Eye in the Sky, Traitor, Rendition, The Ward, Official Secrets) is reuniting with director John Pogue (The Quiet Ones) on the upcoming action thriller Eraser: Reborn. The film is a reboot of Chuck Russell’s 1996 feature Eraser (scored by Alan Silvestri) and stars Dominic Sherwood, Jacky Lai, McKinley Belcher III and Eddie Ramos. The movie follows a U.S. Marshal who specializes in engineering the fake deaths of witnesses that need to leave no trace of their existence. Michael Weiss (Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Butterfly Effect 2) wrote the screenplay. Hunt Lowry (The Last of the Mohicans, First Knight, A Time to Kill) and Patty Reed (Deep Blue Sea 3) are producing the project. Kilian has previously scored Pogue’s last two features, Blood Brothers and Deep Blue Sea 3. Eraser: Reborn will be released this spring by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
