Tony Morales (Elena of Avalor, Bloodline, The Bag Man, An Actor Prepares, In Your Eyes) is scoring the upcoming Amazon original series Reacher. The show is developed by Nick Santora (Prison Break) based on Lee Child’s first Jack Reacher novel Killing Floor and stars Alan Ritchson, Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Hugh Thompson, Chris Webster, Maria Sten, Kristin Kreuk, Harvey Guillén, Currie Graham, Willie C. Carpenter, Marc Bendavid, Maxwell Jenkins and Bruce McGill. The crime thriller follows the title character as he is arrested for a murder he did not commit and finds himself in the middle of a deadly conspiracy full of dirty cops, shady businessmen and scheming politicians. Santora & Child are also executive producing the Skydance Television production with Scott Sullivan, Don Granger, David Ellison & Dana Goldberg (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Tomorrow War, The Old Guard) and Bill Bost (Grace and Frankie, Foundation). Morales has previously collaborated with Santora on CBS’ Scorpion and Quibi’s The Fugitive reboot. Reacher will premiere on February 4, 2022 on Amazon Prime.
Morales also has the Disney Channel live action comedy series Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion coming up. The show starring Scarlett Estevez & J.R. Villarreal follows a Latinx teenager who is chosen by a magical luchador mask to be a superhero and will premiere in 2022.
