Les productions du Couscous has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy drama Rose. The album features the film’s original music composed by actress Aurélie Saada who made her directorial debut on the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Rose is co-written and directed by Aurélie Saada and stars Françoise Fabian, Aure Atika, Grégory Montel, Damien Chapelle and Pascal Elbé. The movie revolves around a 78-year-old woman who has just lost her husband of more than 50 years and tries to redefine herself as a woman. The dramedy premiered at this year’s Locarno Film Festival and will be released in French theaters on December 8. Cohen Media Group has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. in 2022.
