Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Insidious, Annabelle, Malignant, The Curse of La Llorona, The Unholy) is composing the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Cello. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III & IV, Mother’s Day) and stars Jeremy Irons, Tobin Bell, Samer Ismail and Elham Ali. The movie tells the story of an aspiring cellist who learns that the cost of his brand-new cello is a lot more insidious than he first thought. Turki Al Alshikh wrote the screenplay based on his own novel. Lee Nelson (The Ice Road, Celeste and Jesse Forever) is producing the project for Envision Media Art. Bishara has previously collaborated with Bousman on 2011’s 11-11-11. Cello just finished principal photography in Saudi Arabia and is expected to premiere in 2022. (Deadline)
As previously reported, Bishara also has John R. Leonetti-directed and Lee Nelson-produced horror feature Lullaby coming up.
