Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Indignation, I Carry You with Me, Driveways, Olympic Dreams) has been tapped to score the upcoming dram Swan Song. The film written and directed by Benjamin Cleary (Stutterer) and stars Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris, Glenn Close, Awkwafina and Adam Beach. The movie is set in the near future and centers on a loving husband and father who gets diagnosed with a terminal illness and is being presented with a controversial alternative solution to replace himself with a carbon copy clone. Ali, Adam Shulman (Defending Jacob) and Jacob Perlin (The Amazing Johnathan Documentary) are producing the Anonymous Content production with Concordia Studio’s Jonathan King (On the Basis of Sex, Snitch). Dustin O’Hallloran & Herdís Stefánsdóttir were originally attached to score the project. Swan Song will be released in select theaters on December 17, 2021 and will also be available to stream on Apple TV+ on the same day.
